Customer Support Manager

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Customer Support Manager to lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will play a key role in building a strong and empowered team, optimizing processes, and driving innovation within the customer support function.

 

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Interview, select, and onboard talented customer support representatives.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team has the skills and knowledge to excel.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and create development plans for individual team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where employees feel valued and supported.

 

Process Optimization & Efficiency:

  • Analyze customer support data to identify areas for improvement and streamline processes.
  • Lead efforts to automate routine tasks and workflows to increase team efficiency.
  • Manage capacity and resource allocation to ensure timely and effective customer support.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement solutions that enhance the customer experience.

 

Additional Skills:

  • Proven experience in customer support management (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong understanding of customer service best practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Analytical mind with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in customer support software and ticketing systems.

In this role, you will focus less on terminations and more on building a strong and empowered team. While terminations may be a necessary part of the role in rare circumstances, the focus will be on coaching, development, and creating a positive work environment.
