Job Description

As the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management and reporting at Nimbyx Group of Companies. You will work closely with the VP-Finance and executive team to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, in compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
• Accounting Operations: Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and mitigate financial risks.
• Audit: Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and information to ensure a smooth and successful audit process.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and managing tax audits.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Skills: Strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and tax compliance.
• Personality: Highly motivated, results-oriented, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
