• SENIOR IT ENGINEER •
The Senior IT Engineer – Operations & Support at Nimbyx Innovation Center plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing various technical aspects of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including Network, Systems, Security, and Workstations. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role is instrumental in establishing efficient processes, protocols, and policies to comprehensively manage and support Nimbyx’s technology ecosystems. Collaboration with other technical leaders is paramount to enhance support capabilities and achieve a service availability target of 99.99%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, encompassing Network, Systems, Helpdesk, and Workstation, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Implementing processes and standards for managing web domains, Office 365, and Azure Active Directory to support business operations seamlessly.
- Planning and executing security protocols to safeguard data and information, including the management of antivirus software.
- Developing and documenting IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Collaborating with the team to design proactive tools and smart alerts anticipating failures/issues, and providing leadership in identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule, occasionally working outside regular business hours for effective global stakeholder communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven years of experience as a Senior IT Engineer, performing tasks similar to those mentioned above, including 3 years of experience in network, router, firewall management, and configurations.
- 1 year of experience in server management.
- 3 years of experience supporting endpoints and end users.
- Proficiency in LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
The Senior IT Engineer will be solely responsible for managing the entire IT infrastructure. This is a one-person team role, wherein the successful candidate will have the autonomy to drive initiatives and ensure the seamless functioning of Nimbyx’s technology environment.
