Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate problem statements into clear project scope and timelines.
  • Lead the project team, including third-party vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all projects and commitments.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, ensuring accurate transfer of information.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Provide regular reporting and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Create, maintain, and track project documentation.
  • Deliver timely and informative reports to all stakeholders and conduct regular cross-organizational management briefings.

 

Requirements:

  • 5 years of project management experience in the technology industry.
  • Exceptional proficiency in applying project management frameworks, tools, and concepts.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project scoping, user story-based requirements gathering and specification, validation, and release management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.

As the Security leader, you will serve as the security expert and advisor for senior management on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security concerns. You will protect the data of thousands of customers, build monitoring and detection tools, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to promote a security-conscious culture, squash vulnerabilities, and help us achieve our compliance and regulatory goals.

Lead a security-conscious culture

  • Design, develop, and maintain core security protocols, policies, and services.
  • Evangelize and educate security best practices across the company
  • Understand and oversee control standards, and control testing strategies
  • Ensure compliance against relevant industry security standards
  • Participate in the design of new services and infrastructure
  • Build out a comprehensive security roadmap.

Proactively detect and manage security threats

  • Work with the key IT leaders to identify and put in place security and monitoring tools like SIEM, Web Filtering, 2FA, IDS, DLP, and O365 Threat Protection
  • Perform in-depth monitoring and analysis of malicious files, backdoor entries, and security setup to prevent implications on a computer and network environment
  • Create automation in order to support, monitor/audit, and enforce security policies and detect threats
  • Perform vulnerability and penetration tests in all key areas and patch vulnerabilities

Internal Customer Management

  • Interact with customers and work with a global team with a flexible schedule
  • Present findings and explain impact and solutions to any level of leadership and other engineers.
  • Conduct regular security awareness training and campaigns to educate employees about current threats and best practices.

The Head of IT Operations Support is a key member of the Nimbyx Technology group and is responsible for managing a group of HelpDesk Team, Systems Administrators and Security Engineers.

This person will work hand in hand with the CTO to setup effective and efficient processes, protocols and policies for the large-scale environment management and support of Nimbyx’ technology ecosystems. This role will drive the culture of continuous improvement and excellent end-user experience that will allow us to rapidly iterate and scale.

This person will work with other technical leaders in the Nimbyx Technology group to establish our application support capabilities to ensure service availability at 99.99%.

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Helpdesk Support, Systems Administrators and Security Engineers
  • Establish and track KPIs and Metrics for the IT Operations Support team
  • Establish processes and standards to manage web domains, Office 365 and Azure Active Directory
  • Plan and implement security protocols to ensure security of data and information
  • Create/document IT policies and procedures
  • Work with the team to design tools and smart alerts to proactively anticipate failures/issues
  • Lead the team in identifying root cause and in fixing issues
  • Able to have flexible work schedule and at times work outside of the normal business hours to accommodate effective communications with stakeholders in the global organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, network management and domain management.
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
